JAN ROHDE AND THE ADVENTURERS - "DOIN' THE JENKA" (1963)

U donte kembengulja e nenes sime te me mesonte me cdo kusht nje kercim mjaft 'te lezetshem' ('penguin dance'), qe une te zbuloja nje grup legjendar skandinav (The Adventurers) me nje kenge kaq rock'n roll (sixties) aq edhe te gezueshme ('jenkka' perfaqeson nje lloj kercimi folkloristik finlandez, me ritem te shpejte e luajtje kembesh ne pozicione te mirepercaktuara)...
E kote te pershkruaj fytyren time ndersa shihja 'kete' grua 56-vjecare te kerceje me hov nje muzike te tille (e do ishte akoma e lejueshme, nen ndikimin sovietik, ne regjimin e atehershem ne Shqiperi)!

WHEN THE HUSBAND COMES... [ALBANIAN URBAN LYRIC SONG IN THE 1930s]

My attempt to explain to a foreign friend the meaning of this Albanian citizenship song, succeeded half (great emotions always interrupt my linearity!).
But, to my surprise, it was him who commented his impressions listening to diva Tefta Tashko:
"it reminds me pieces of rarely Asian music (probably theatrical or drama), like tunes sung maybe during a trip to meet her lover (or waiting at home for him), with that feminine erotic attraction, typical to people with excessive passion in their life...".

HOLLY GOLIGHTLY - 'THERE'S AN END' [BROKEN FLOWERS OST]

Words disappear,
Words weren't so clear,
Only echos passing through the night.
The lines on my face,
Your fingers once traced,
Fading reflection of what was.
Thoughts re-arrange,
Familar now strange,
All my skin is drifting on the wind.
Spring brings the rain,
With winter comes pain,
Every season has an end.
I try to see through the disguise,
But the clouds were there,
Blocking out the sun (the sun).
Thoughts re-arrange,
Familar now strange,
All my skin is drifting on the wind.
Spring brings the rain,
With winter comes pain,
Every season has an end.
There's an end,
There's an end,
There's an end,
There's an end.
