'I’ve always loved ambient and drone music and this summer I really became obsessed with the idea of music as a means of evoking place, time, or feeling instead of telling some kind of narrative. It’s the same way I like to approach photography, actually. I like photos that have a strong sense of composition, but it’s easy to miss because the focus is more on texture or tone which I guess leads to the photos I used for the project...'

'I feel like music should be, above all, visual. It doesn’t have to be, of course, but the music I personally connect with is very visual to me. I imagine myself listening to it at a specific time, or in a specific place, whether or not that time or place is real, so I’ve always loved writing songs that encapsulate certain places or moments in time for me. Sometimes I’ll go out exploring just to get inspiration for a song...'

Mark Maggiori eshte nje fotograf-gjeni (gjithsesi regjizor e piktor) qe jeton ne France me te shoqen. Besnik aparatit te tij analog, nje Pentax e mrekullueshme 35mm, fotografia e tij na duket e moshuar, jo e lemuar, plot gjurme djegie nga larja(...), nostalgjike, por megjithate terheq per pershtypje unike qe ruan.

Ndikuar nga jeta e komunitetit te bardhe amerikan (shume shkrepje vijne nga shkretetira amerikane dhe nenkulturat atje!), hedh drite mbi klishete sociale, duke perbuzur shemtine e tyre te vetmuar, thrash-in ne ate kontinent, e ne te njejten kohe, ketyre moralizmave i kunderve erotizmin spontan/fatal (vajza gjysme lakuriq!) te femrave ne ambjente te degraduara, te braktisura, ne mungese dinamizmi, pa harruar krenarine dhe rebelimin e tyre (shpesh edhe me arme me nur marre nga e kaluara patriotike!). Me kete cilesi unike i rikthen njerezve te margjinalizuar dinjitetin dhe njefare bukurie te forte...

Me pak fjale, Maggiori paraqitet si nje pluriartist origjinal dhe kenaq (dhe jo vetem kaq!) me (krye)veprat e tij ne web...

Mark Maggiori is a photographer/genius (but also a director and a painter) who lives in France with his wife. With his faithful analog camera, a wonderful Pentax 35mm, his pictures seem old, not smooth, with traces of combustion by developing them (...), absolutely nostalgic, yet attractive for their unique impression that save.
Influenced by the American white community life (most shoots coming from the American desert and subcultures which live there!), Maggiori highlights social clichés, despised the ugliness of their lonely and the thrash on the continent, but at the same time, opposes to this moralism spontaneous/fatal eroticism (half naked girls!) of women in degraded environments, abandoned, with no dynamism, without forgetting their pride and rebellion (often armed with legendary guns from the past!). With this unique quality, he brings back to these marginalized people a kind of strong beauty and dignity...
In short, Maggiori is presented to me as an original and multiawarded artist who impresses with all his projects in web...

Faster and faster. Faster and faster. Each aim, peripheral limb tremor, memories or deep feelings move quicker than me these days. This is a theory. They pass physically right in front of my eyes. Just go away. But they do not disappear at all because they remain forever present within the cerebellum, the tight streets of neurons and heart, especially! Before the retina of the eye. I'm done this way...  'Aeons' means 'life', 'infinity', billions of years behind one's shoulder, personalization of God in all people, our One's delegated, with full power...   Sublimation of being who we are!

Tashme i perket Shkolles e Muzikes dhe shpesh ka koncerte prestigjoze me artiste qe luajne blues e jazz. Nje nga keto, ne vere te ketij viti, ishte ai i Ilhan Ersahin dhe grupi shoqerues Istanbul Sessions.

Shume nuk besonin se do realizohej koncerti se koha nuk premtonte asgje te mire. Qielli sterr i zi kercenonte per shi dhe stuhi verore. Ne ishim ulur qe heret dhe mes nje gllenjke whiskey dhe nje tjeter foto, po prisnim te hipnin ne skene artistet dhe ne vecanti saksofonisti tenor flokegjate Ilhan.

Parakohe pikat e para te shiut zbriten dhe duke buzeqeshur kap saksofonin dhe i fryen, per here te pare. Qetesia u ngul perreth nesh, asnjeri nuk mori fryme, zhurma e ujit qe pikonte u perzie me dritat e gjelberta dhe te kuqe te fareve dhe hipnotizoi oborrin e viles.

Ritme bass-i te kercyeshem, instrumentale vrasese, ngrohtesi e fresket, agoni e pelqyeshme, ekzekutim likuid, nota synth-i me efekte elektonike shoqeronin saksin ngjyre te florinjte...

Ilhan Ersahin lindi ne Stokholm, levizi e luajti jam-sessions nga Nju Jorku deri ne Boston (ndikime Coltrane, Henderson), mirepo edhe ruajti zhvilloi njefare ndikimi personal ndaj origjines turke (gjurmet 'Bosphorus', 'Oriental Wind', ) duke spikatur ne skenat internacionale.

Elemente jazz-i me muziken e Lindjes se Mesme kane lene gjurmet e veta ne albumet e fundit (sidomos Home, 1997), per tu riformuar me me fund me Istanbul Sessions (bashkepunimet me Eric Truffaz, degjo siper 'Freedom') ne albumin homonim dhe me pas me Night Rider, 2011. Megjithate asgje nuk e zevendeson shfaqjen live te ketij artisti dhe fryma qe krijohet ne skene dhe poshte saj!
