ANIKA / EXPLODED VIEW - ME CO NE ANEN TJETER...

Anika dhe Exploded View jane dy fiskimet e mia te momentit; eshe pse vone u kujtova te shkruaj dy rreshta per to... Le te themi qe do jepja pothuajse cdo gje te shihja nje koncert saj live ketej afer (deri tashme ka bere pitstop vetem ne Rome).

Behet fjale per dy projekte muzikore te ndara, por te udhehequra nga e njejta artiste: Anika Henderson.

Le te shqyrtojme secilin prej tyre individualisht:
Anika eshte muzikante, kengetare dhe kompozitore britaniko-gjermane e njohur per qasjen e saj minimaliste dhe eksperimentale ndaj muzikes. Muzika e saj mund te pershkruhet si nje bashkim i elementeve post-punk, dub dhe elektronike, me nje tingull shpesh te perhumbur dhe atmosferik (oh, sa me kujton zerin e Nico). Stili i veçante vokal i Anikes karakterizohet nga dorezimi i saj i fresket dhe i shkeputur, gje qe shton nje cilesi enigmatike ne kenget e saj.

Ne albumin e saj debutues te vete-titulluar "Anika" (2010), ajo punoi me producentin Geoff Barrow nga Portishead, duke krijuar nje koleksion kopertinash dhe kengesh origjinale me nje vibe lo-fi, retro.

Exploded View eshte nje projekt bashkepunues i udhehequr nga Anika Henderson, por gjithashtu me muzikante te tjere. Muzika e grupit mund te pershkruhet si nje perzierje e rock-ut, post-punk, krautrock dhe eksperimental me nje prekje te ndikimeve psychedelike. Tingulli karakterizohet nga ritmet hipnotike, synimet vertitese dhe zeri hermetik i Anikes.

Ne fund te fundit nuk ka rendesi nese e kupton ate cfare shkruan Goethe sepse muzika e Sällskapet sebashku me interpretimin e Shroeder autoshprehen duke shperndare nje mesazh mjaft te qarte: perzierjet e sugjerimeve (letersi apo muzike) jane dekadente dhe plot melankoli.
Padyshim, albumi Disparition (2018) perfaqeson kohen dhe hapesiren ideale per te shoqeruar nje ftese nostalgjike per muzike post-industriale, pse jo gjetke neper rruget historike te Berlinit ose neper ish-burgjet e Stokholmit...

BOOZOO BAJOU ME 'NIGHT OVER MANAUS' - ELEMENTE TE ELEKTRONIKES KRYQEZUAR ME STILIN KLASIK BRAZILIAN

E quajne 'brazilliance', nje perzierje aromash bossa nova, samba e batacuda, me elektroniken evropiane (gjermane, ne kete rast!).

Me erdhen ne mendje Boozoo Bajou meqe po degjoja e vleresoja pozitivisht albumin e tyre te fundit (4, 2014), tashme kult neper kolonat zanore te mbremjeve me muzike te rafinuar (bashke me Thievery Coorporation) dhe shpejt kaperceva ne playlist ne gjurmen 'Night Over Manaus' (albumi Satta, 2001); jo imitim, por te ben sikur te jesh aty, ne ate atmosfere braziliane, te ambjenton kollaj dmth...

DJ WANK ME 'CRIZZY JAZZ' - KUR KERCIMI BEHET AUTOMATIZEM I CMENDUR

Momenti kur ne nje mbremje pseudo-intelektualesh, organizuar nga njerI qe sapo eshte kthyer nga nje udhetim i larget, njerA nderron gjurme papritmas, ngren volumin e altoparlanteve te rinj dhe me fustanin, alla-hipster tashme, fillon e kercen vetem (sic e do kodi i njerezve me kurajo te spikatur!)... Vemendja orientohet si me magnet...

Muzika e mosperputhshme, me pavend do te ishte pikerisht ky 'Crizzy Jazz' i pavarur (prodhim i nje etikete gjermane!): nje jazz i lire, baterik, shpejt shperthyes, ndoshta ne trajte swing-u per ciftet qe mesojne figura te reja, si prove qe kurset e vallezimit jane gjithnje ne mode e qe e kaluara ne piste kishte njefare joshjeje qe sot na rreshqet...

EASTENDERS FEAT. BAJKA - 'CAPITALISM'

'Capitalism' is the first track from Eastenders's album Beyond The Path (2007) and features the distinctive voice of Bajka Pluwatsch (collaborations with Bonobo, Radio Citizen and Beanfield).

It combines a laid back reggae flavour with oriental strings (it seems turkish to me!) and Bajka´s unique lyrics.

DAVID AUGUST - 'PHENOMENA' [TIMES, 2013]. CLASSICALLY TRAINED HANDS

Hamburg's prince of electronic music?
David August’s album Times (2013) is void of age and an intimate portrayal of an astonishing young 23 year old prodigy.

Times yearns to be explored again and again, functioning on many intuitive levels. Hatching dramatic leaps in tempo and style, from cavernous bass drops akin to James Blake, through to crisp sonic distortions and instruments played directly from August’s own classically trained hands.
This personal album was written during a year off in which August fully immersed himself in his musical yearnings, realising his fanatical dedication of which love in all its facets is the main motive.

SIBYLLE BAIER - AND PRESS 'PLAY' LATE AT NIGHT [COLOUR GREEN, 1970/1973]

Colour Green, the one and only release from German Sibylle Baier, has been around since the early '70s. Recorded in her home between 1970-1973, the actress, writer, mother, and singer/songwriter chose family over fame, and it wasn't until the tapes landed in the hands of Dinosaur Jr.'s J. Mascis that they began their ascent into the world.
Have we found the female Leonard Cohen? Maybe...
Simply fantastic voice, simplistic but delicate melodies and a plain melancholy album. An album that turned out to sound amazingly current, despite it was recorded almost 40 years ago.

A wistful rendering of Vashti Bunyan, Leonard Cohen, and Joni Mitchell, Baier's conversational voice can be both tragic and comforting, turning the simplest task into a sepia-toned snapshot of longing.
Each track is like a field recording of the highest quality, with every whisper of the locale present, yet unintelligible. Baier, who would silently haul out the tape machine and press record late at night when her family was asleep, conveys the purest of intimacies with the kind of confidence only secrecy can afford. From the opening cut, when she sings "tonight when I came home from work/there he, unforeseen sat in my kitchen," the listener can't help but be transported behind the soft closed eyes that grace Colour Green's basement-scavenged, yellowing cover.

ALVA NOTO - PERTEJ ELEKTRONIKES [UNIVRS, 2011]

'Listening to the radio is something that had a lasting influence on me. We didn’t have very good reception and so we had to listen on short wave, and that was exciting. All that coded information that comes over on short wave.
Russian radio messages coded into combinations of numbers, numbers often came through in Russian for hours, and that really caught my imagination.
I was never actually interested in modification, and I’m still not. I just liked the idea of making loops ['Uni Fac']'.

PSICHOMOTRICITY IN KINDERGARTEN - LOST DIARY OF AN ORIGINAL TRIP

An independent duo from the deep cactus italian province of Salerno, hypno-psichedelia, minimal-kraut and collective tribal rituals. The band grew up jamming in Berlin, during the summer of 2009, the first live was an improvisation of 4 hours into the now legendary Karmanoia club in Neukölln.
