Mary Ocher nuk eshte thjesht nje artiste; eshte nje zeshkruese e patrembur qe perdor muziken si mjet proteste, arti vizual dhe filozofie. Kinematike, e papermbajtur dhe jashte çdo kornize pop.

Gjurma "Pulse" eshte nje nga ato krijime ku tensioni ndihet ne çdo sekonde. Aty baset, ritmet minimale dhe zeri i saj avant-garde perzihen ne nje lloj pulsi mbytes, ku ajri behet gati i pamundur per t'u marre fryme, sepse arti i saj nuk kerkon te te ngushelloje, por te te zgjoje.

Ne "Pulse", Mary Ocher nderton nje atmosfere hipnotike e te zymte. Tingujt industriale, daullet obsesive dhe vokalet e saj te papersetritshme krijojne nje ambient ku çdo goditje ndihet si rrahje zemre ne mes te nje kaosi politik e shoqeror.

Kjo nuk eshte muzike pasive per sfond; eshte nje eksperiment zanor qe te terheq brenda ne pyetjet e saj te thella mbi ekzistencen, kontrollin dhe lirine.

Fillojme. Mund te them pa frike qe Scott Morgan, aka-Loscil, eshte nje dishepull i drejteperdrejte i Brian Eno-s (Music For Airports), i gjermanes kosmische music (grupet legjendare Cluster, Ash Ra Temple), kompozitorit minimalist Gavin Bryars dhe sikur te mos mjaftonte, ndjekes i besueshem i formulave dhe ligjeve te termodinamikes (lenda Fizike).
Pikerisht ne 1999, vetprodhoi albumin e tij te pare me titullin: A New Demonstration of Thermodynamic Tendencies, duke kapur keshtu vemendjen e etiketes Kranky.

I specializuar ne muzike per filma e fotografi konceptuale, thur kolona sonore elektro-eksperimentale-akustike. Gjeni i ambient-it, arkitekt i tingullit ('Most of my processed sounds originate as real-world sounds that are recorded and transformed'), muzikant dhome me audio ne formate te pakompresuara, kurajoz dhe i pajisur me instrumente elektronike nga me te cuditshmit: synth-e me hidrogjen te lengshem, kanadezi Scot Morgan (Loscil) perben nje nga personalitetet me aktuale dhe origjinale ne rradhen e emrave te muzikes elektronike.
'The Making Of Grief Point' (perberja e pikes se dhimbjes) nuk i perket aspak ndonje muzike te degjuar mepare. Eshte dicka e pervecme, nje eksperience serioze dhe trasformuese. Unike per kete tingull dhe rrefim (zeri eshte i Dan Bejar te Destroyer) eshte dramaciteti qe i shton degjimit te muzikes ambient.
Dhe e gjithe kjo zbret nga qielli gri keshtu, ne forme fluide dhe tmerresisht e ngjashme me shiun...
