HERMANOS GUTIÉRREZ - DY VELLEZER. DY KITARA. PAK FJALE. SHUME RRUGE.

Disa muzika duken sikur nuk jane bere per t'u degjuar ne nje dhome. Jane bere per t'u degjuar duke udhetuar.
Nje rruge e gjate, dritarja hapur, dielli qe bie mbi asfalt dhe perpara vetem kilometra. Ne sfond, dy kitara qe flasin me njera-tjetren pa u nxituar.
Keshtu me tingellojne Hermanos Gutiérrez.

Te dy vellezerit jane me origjine ekuadoriane, por jane rritur ne Zyrih, Zvicer, dhe kjo perzierje mes rrenjeve latino-amerikane dhe edukimit europian ndihet ne menyren e tyre te te bere muzikes.

Muzika e tyre te con drejt shkretetires se kontinentit amerikan, neper peizazhe te thata, rruge te humbura dhe qytete te vogla ku koha duket sikur ka levizur me nje ritm tjeter. Ka nje lidhje te forte me tingullin dhe kulturen sud-amerikane, por pa e kthyer ate ne dekor. Eshte pjese e vete adn-se se muzikes se tyre.
Dhe pastaj jane kitaret; te pastra, te ngrohta, me shume hapesire mes notave. Asgje nuk duket e tepert. Cdo tingull ka vendin e vet dhe heshtja mes dy notave eshte po aq e rendesishme sa vete nota.

I pashe live ne Milano dhe aty muzika e tyre merr nje tjeter dimension.
Ajo qe ne regjistrim duket si nje udhetim imagjinar, ne skene behet pothuajse fizik. Dy vellezer, dy kitara dhe nje tingull qe te terheq ngadale brenda nje peizazhi qe nuk ekziston realisht, por qe ne nje fare menyre e njeh.
Ndoshta sepse nuk eshte vetem muzike. Eshte nje kujtim i nje vendi ku nuk ke qene kurre (deri tashme!).
Dhe ndoshta kjo eshte me te vertete magjia e Hermanos Gutiérrez!

ALEC K REDFEARN AND THE EYESORES // AVANT PSIKO-CIGANE: FIZARMONIKE, KITARE, PIANO, UKULELE DHE HARMONIKE LUAJTUR CMENDURISHT NDRYSHE [SISTER DEATH, 2012]

Sic e shpjegon vete Alec K Redfearn: "Eyesores luajne muzike krijuese qe prej 15-vjetesh dhe perbejne nje ansambel te papenguar nga etiketat, mjaft te veshtire per tu kataloguar ne rryma".

Disku i tyre i shtate (Sister Death, 2012) nuk ka te krahasuar ne skenen muzikore te nendheshme (underground) duke u shtyre gjithnje e me shume ne kerkim te nje tingulli te ri, kesaj rradhe idealisht ne Evropen e Lindjes (bej me mendje nje linje nga Irlanda, duke kaluar ne Transilvani, e deri ne Ballkan), ku fizarmonika kryeson instrumentet e tjere te pazakonte (piano Wurlitzer, kitare havajane, ukulele, dy bas-e etj).

Mbulesa e ketij albumi psikedelik shfaqet me nje bukuroshe duarhapur, si per te parashikuar titullin. Alec shoqerohet, pervecse nga nje ushtri me muzikante te mirenjohur, edhe nga chanteuse Orion Rigel Dommisse (dhe ne fakt duetet dy-zerash jane mes te dyve!).

Une i falenderoj vecanerisht per cilesine e mire ne kete eksperimentim te habitshem dhe origjinal (folk, rock, dark, balada...), plot gjelberim te perjetshem, shfryerje te shfrenuar te shqisave, thesare te fshehura (te pallogaritur!) dhe zjarrit te rastesishem qe digjet ('Fire Shuffle').

KUTMAH - UNDERGROUND AND ABSTRACT [FROM A DJ SKETCHBOOK]

When talking about Kutmah, it’s tempting to use an epithet such as “the best DJ you’ve never heard”, or “best kept secret”.

Justin McNulty was born in Brighton, England to an Egyptian mother and Scottish father. He moved to the United States when he was 12 years old and grew up in Hollywood, California. It was here where Justin became Kutmah and ultimately made a name for himself as a talented underground artist and DJ.

Kutmah became a member of LA’s dublab collective and then in 2004 he founded the celebrated clubnight ‘Sketchbook’ which forged fundamental roots of the now-infamous LA beat scene.
As an associate of Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder collective, his mixtures from his time spent on the West Coast are legendary amongst those that know, and he’s also released several of his own original records; even though he’s predominantly a DJ, with foundations in hip-hop ('Dirty Otis') and a record collection that spans far beyond the genre ('Shake').

Now that boilerroom.tv recorded him playing live, it is unnecessary to admit for sure; Kutmah - one of the best underground music experience!
