BETTY BLUE - EROTIZEM, LOT DHE KENAQESI
Kishin parajmeruar stuhi ne fund te dites, por qielli mbetej blu dhe era kishte pushuar plotesisht. Une shkova per te hedhur nje sy ne kuzhine per te pare nese fasulet mos ngjiteshin ne pjesen e poshtme te tenxheres, por çdo gje po shkonte per mrekulli.
Dola jashte i armatosur me nje birre te ftohte dhe qendrova nje moment me koken siper per nga dielli. Rrihej mire aty perjashte. U be nje ave qe tashme merrja diell cdo mengjes duke mbyllur syte dhe duke menduar se isha nje njeri i lumtur. Kisha nje jave qe isha njohur me Betty-n.
Falenderova qiellin edhe njehere dhe zgjata doren time per tek karrigia me nje buzeqeshje e kenaqesi. Gjate javes kisha fjetur pa merak jo me shume se njezet ore, dhe Betty edhe me pak. Ndoshta ajo nuk kishte fjetur aspak, kete nuk e di... Ishte gjithmone ajo qe propozonte gjera te reja: "Ehi, mos me ler vetem, ehi çfare je duke bere? Zgjohemi tani?". Hapja syte dhe buzeqeshja. Si te them, perpiqesha te mbaja ritmin, sikurse te ishim duke pire thjesht nje cigare, te ishim duke u palluar apo te tregonim histori.
Kur gjithçka shkonte mire, mbaroja punen ne mesdite dhe gjate pjeses tjeter te dites ulesha i qete dhe nuk beja asgje. Mjaftonte te mos largohesha deri ne oren shtate te pasdites ne rast se kisha nevoje per mua. Zakonisht, kur moti ishte i mire, mua me gjeje te shtrire ne karrige mbi kuverte. Ndonjehere isha ne gjendje te qendroja ngjitur ne vendin tim per ore te tera...

GANG GANG DANCE - MUZIKE E PERZIER. ELEKTRONIKE DHE PSIKEDELI TRIBALE
U be me shume se nje vit qe mbesa ime 16-vjecare 'vdes' per kete 'MindKilla'.
Ne fillim bera cmos ta njihte sepse mendova do e terhiqnin sidomos energjia, ritmet tmerresisht te kercyeshem (sot i quajne butesisht 'club-friendly') dhe 'egersia' e Liz Bougatsos, por kurre nuk do mendoja qe do 'luante mendsh' nga kjo gjurme!
Sot i jap te drejte. Plotesisht.

Gang Gang Dance jetojne ne Bruklin, Nju Jork dhe kane brenda ne valixhe nja pese albume te mire. Elektronike radikale, prerje-ngjitje copash muzike andej-ketej, eksperimente alla-Animal Collective, improvizime futuriste, noise, etno-pop, chillwave ('Blue Nile'), hip-hop ('Princes'), avangarde, ritme tribale dance ('Adult Goth'), ze femre si te ardhur nga nje ishull vullkanik (njih M.I.A)...
Muzike jo vetem per hipsters te lagjeve te Manhatanit, nerda, apo per te fiksuarit pas efekteve te synth-eve dhe plugin-eve Reason ne pc, por edhe per tipa qe adhurojne perzierjen. Po, sepse ketu behet fjale kryesisht per perzierje.
Si projekt GGD eshte shumengjyresh, me mjaft ndikime nga supergrupe te vjeter (madje edhe nga krautrock-u gjerman!) dhe mund te mos mjaftonte ky artikull per t'i permendur te gjithe. Por ajo qe eshte mahnitese eshte se jane te zote. Te zote ne koktejin e zhanreve. Teper per 'te luajtur' me kaq shume ndotje elektroakustike (degjo 'House Jam'). fakt ky qe deshmon per nje nenkulture apo sfond muzikor te bollshem dhe me gusto.
Lindin ne underground-in njujorkez dhe njohin mire muziken concrete, grupet The Residents, Can dhe instalimet noise.
Kane ditur te rishpikin vetveten, cdo album, njeri pas tjetrit. Derime tani!
Dhe ne djall shkofte klasifikimi ne treg:
"We have a hard time with classifications because we really don't fit in anywhere..."

Gli uomini potevano chiudere gli occhi davanti alla grandezza, davanti all'orrore e turarsi le orecchie davanti a melodie o a parole seducenti. Ma non potevano sottrarsi ai profumi. Poiché il profumo è fratello del respiro. Con esso penetrava gli uomini, a esso non potevano resistere, se volevano vivere. E il profumo scendeva in loro, direttamente al cuore e là distingueva categoricamente la simpatia dal disprezzo, il disgusto dal piacere, l'amore dall'odio. BIG KAHUNA TEACHES
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Never mind.
You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked.
You are not as fat as you imagine.
Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing every day that scares you.
Sing.
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts, don't put up with people who are reckless with yours.
Floss.
Don't waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind. The race is long, and in the end, it's only with yourself.
Remember compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.
Stretch.
Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't.
Get plenty of calcium.
Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they're gone.
Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't, maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't, maybe you'll divorce at 40, maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself, either. Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else's. Enjoy your body, use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it's the greatest instrument you'll ever own.
Dance. Even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.
Read the directions, even if you don't follow them.
Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.
Get to know your parents, you never know when they'll be gone for good.
Be nice to your siblings; they are your best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.
Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography in lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.
Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.
Travel.
Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you'll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.
Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.
Don't mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
But trust me on the sunscreen.

Ze modal i variueshem. Stile e frekuenca te pafundme. Eshte e pabesueshme! Dhe e mrekullueshme. (Gati) prekim nje dimension tjeter ketu.
Nxenese e mjeshtrit John Cage, amerikanja Julia Holter beson shume ne forcen e qetesise, e heshtjes; si kjo e fundit mund te shprehe shume me teper se dyzina e dyzina me fjale boshe... Dhe nese eshte e vertete qe ne nuk mund te shprehim kurre (me te njejten besuesshmeri) me fjale ate cfare mendojme brenda ne koke, kjo zonjushe e ka rrokur me kohe artin bashkekohor!
Me albumin Ekstasis (2012) na fal nje nga (krye)veprat aktuale te muzikes bashkekohore (e mbani mend fenomenin Joana Newsom?): zeri tjeter i ri i dekades Dhjete! Instrumentalizim i zerit, eksplorim i kordave pertej perdorimit te zakonshem, muzike hiper-psikedelike, psiko-folk, weird-music, etnografi zanore, jazz-rock etj etj...
E megjithate albumi perbehet nga gjurme prej 3-6min, kohezgjatje normale per muziken pop, por zonjusha Holter nuk e humb aspak koken, vetem sa flirton me synth-et ('In The Same Room') dhe shkelqen me 'Four Gardens' ne nje enderr alla-Supersilent apo Meredith Monk.
Me monumentalen gati 9min te 'This Is Ekstasis' vizaton me saktesi irrealitete mendore, le hapesira per fantazi, shkurton drejt burimeve te ekstazes. Per neuronet!
Inteligjenca: nis cdo gje nga koka, apo jo? Dhe kenqesia per veshin eshte e paevitueshme.

LUKE TEMPLE & HERE WE GO MAGIC - POP, DELIKATESE, EMBELSI. MAGJI E ZERIT
Mungoi me te vertete pak. Ketu kemi te bejme me magji.
U be kohe qe Paul Simon nuk permendej nga artiste te rinj ne skenen indie si guru frymezues per cdo kenge-te-vogel-pop-i.
Luke Temple eshte nga Nju Jorku dhe si Animal Collective e ka kapur pop-in mbrapsht, per bishti. Melodi te thjeshta qe rrjedhin pa lene ndonje pershtypje te gjate (flas nese i sheh ne ndonje koncert brenda nje cadre gjigante!), e megjithate kane dicka, nje element intim qe te terheq: pastertine elemetare te kenges pop.
Duhet t'i marrim per ate cfare perfaqesojne: grup pop-i me vokalitet te shkelqyer (fjale e Sufjan Stevens dhe Death Cab For A Cutie!) qe nuk e ka kapercyer akoma kafshaten e fundit te elektronikes dhe eksperiences psikedelike te viteve Gjashtedhjete (shto ketu edhe argumentimet lo-fi dhe etno).
