Muzika e Mark William Lewis karakterizohet nga nje perzierje e elementeve ambientale, elektronike dhe eksperimentale. Kompozimet e tij shpesh paraqesin peisazhe te qeta tingujsh, te cilat karakterizohen nga pattern te pasura dhe melodi te buta, te cilat zhvillohen ngadale.

Me vemendje te thelle mbi konfliktin palestino-izraelian, Bryn Jones (1961-1999) u interesua per tinguj dhe muziken tipike mid-orjentale (kunder pushtimit te Libanit nga Izraeli ne 1982 dhe shpesh i dedikonte regjistrimet e rralla levizjes per clirimin e Palestines...).

E kujtojme si nje personazh interesant per idete dhe muziken mjaft cilesore (edhe pse, fale Zotit, underground) qe mundohej te komunikonte.

Thurja e ritmeve mekanike nxit per deshperim me shije te tharet retro ('futuriste' ne kuptimin e nje elektro-rock-u vintage: ideale per filma B-movies), mirepo me nje dimension te ri, larg elektronikes konvencionale dhe ndoshta me afer krautrok-ut (Tangerine Dream?).

Inati, rebelimi dhe alienizimi i individit ketu merr forma me te mbyllura, te izoluara nga masa, ku eksperimentimi behet i vetmi faktor udhezues i muzikes se Add N To (X) dhe shfaqjet live e punimet artistike (video ilustruese me permbajte te forte vizive, projektime) plotesojne kuadrin e bandes aspak komerciale.

Dhe ne fakt titulli i albumit shpjegon shume gjera: Mbi telat e nervave tone (1998)!

Si tek filmi Blow-Up (Antonioni, 1966) krijohen realitete paralele, ku imagjinata ia kalon realitetit te merzitshem (afrimi me drogat e renda ketu eshte i menjehershem!) dhe sensi i se bukures absolute ekziston vetem ne mendjen tende... 

Gjurma e mesiperme 'King Wasp' eshte ajo me e kapshmja per veshin e shumices (nje remake i 'I'm King Bee' nga legjenda blues Slim Harpo); edhe pse ketu blues-it i ka mbetur vetem nervi kryesor dhe pikerisht ky i nenshtrohet operacioneve (kirurgjikale) te notave artificiale te tre te cmendurve!

Hiatus: Shura and I both share an affection for music that mixes melancholic harmonies with moody basslines, and we’re both rigorous self-editors, constantly going back and trimming stuff down to its bare essentials.

I love the way Shura uses her voice like an instrument; layering and looping it in exactly the way I would if I was sampling her off a record.

For the most part she’ll come to me with vocals and a guitar line, and I’ll build the track up around that; occasionally she’s taken an old tune of mine and added lyrics...

While Jaar leans closer to creature comforts, lyrically composing a Van Gogh-replica of a wooden house ("A wooden house to live in") on a mountain paired with “fruit on the table” and “a baby to care for.”

In the end, both want fleeting pleasure to burn up in flames, cued by the “fire outside/ it’s burning up the place...”

Adrian nuk eshte vajze. Adrian eshte nje djale.

Se perse ka perdorur kete 'gabim' gjinie ne emer, nuk mund ta di. Ironia, si duket, ben pjese e lojes.
Shpesh i lidhur me personin e Phil Elverum (ai i Mount Eerie dhe i The Microphones) luan nje folk eksperimental, shpeshhere pa ndonje lidhje te dukshme me albumet e paraardhshem.
Ky ne fjale (Adrian Orange and Her Band, 2007) eshte mbi baza jazz-i, funky dhe vokalizma te lire...
E bukura qendron, pervecse ne muziken e ngrohte e free (te improvizuar), edhe ne modelin individual qe Adrian (ose Thanksgiving) na paraqet; duket se eshte nje nga ne. E perditshmja me gjendjet e saj shpirterore te lekundshme, si te ishim hippie te humbur ne nje parkim veturash perballe nje supermerkato gjigante.

Mirepo, ka nur ky imazh!

Procesi i ketij albumi (mjaft te mire!) eshte i gjate, i shkrire i gjithi ne te njejten vorbull zanore; e megjithate i papercaktuar mire ne trajte. Muzike e pelqyeshme, si nje orkester live ('Interdependance Dance') e sajuar shpejt mbrapa nje klubi te shtrenjte, naten, ku funky e reggae ('Question Love Answer') ngrohin ajrin plot profume... E panjohura e bukur!

E te mendosh qe kurre nuk do mendoja (gabimisht!) qe skena amerikano-jugore mund te ishte e vecante, speciale, ritmike ne kuptimin e muzikes origjinale, mjeshtra ne elektroniken bashkekohore. Dhe sidomos kur ky i fundit eshte rritur ne Berlin; kryeqyetetin e arteve te pavarura ne Evrope.

Nje udhetim i gjate (Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Rionegro); rizbulime etnografike, tekno tribale e leshuar tashme e lire nga improvizimet dhe house tribale perbejne elementet fitues te albumin The Visitor, 2013.

Relatat trup-pluhur forcohen, psikedelia tribale thur argumente me pistat e kercimit urban, terrirore latino qe kane sherbyer si nxites per ambjente klubesh, alegri tipike qe ushtron presion mbi mendje akoma te paravendosura, levizje qe marrin inisiativa provokuese e personalisht te kenaqshme!
